Maybe another carpet? This time a mega rare ”Optik” carpet in purple tones. The pattern was designed by Verner Panton in 1969 for Unika Vaev. It’s a kind of mix between a flat rug and a long pile rya. I have only seen this carpet once (an orange version) in an old picture from Verner’s […]
Pantonova
FLOWERPOTS
Verner Panton’s ”real” flowerpots from 1979. Brown in enamel and red in plastic. The table is a prototype Pantonova wire table from 1972. All three manufactured by J. Lüber.
NEW PICTURES
Some new pictures from the violet and the purple room.
MORE PICS
Some quick pictures of the turquoise room in progress.
MORE TURQUOISE
Some new pics from the turquoise room in progress. Still some layers of paint to go but the colour is great to blue/turquoise objects.
VARNA 1971
Enjoy! Some pictures from the Varna Restaurant near Århus in Denmark 1971.
COLOURS
Some new pictures from our rooms.
CURTAIN TEST 3
A new test of curtains for the blue room – “Checkers II” pattern in velour from 1969. I think I like these the best so far. The light goes through them in a cool way. Still need to do something with the floor and also the wiring/hanging of the lamps.
PROTOTYPE CHAIR?
Some new pieces came today. The first thing I will show you is this unusual edition of a Wire Cone Chair. It actually looks a little bit like a hybrid between a Pantonova dining chair and a Wire Cone Chair. The measurements are about the same as a Cone Chair from […]
PANTONOVA TABLE
New pictures of the round prototype Pantonova table that did not reach production. It was in J. Lübers catalogue from 1972 but for some reason it was never put into production and they had to call the catalogue back.
PANTONOVA CUBES
Also some pictures of the Pantonova storage units are updated under “Furniture”. The black ones are from Expedit A/S in Denmark and the chromed ones are from J. Lüber in Switzerland.
AUBERGINE ROOM
I have some plans for this room but no time… I hope to get a big mirror from wall to wall behind the petrol coloured Pantonova chaise longue. This will make the room look twice as big and the lamps will reflect there as well.
