Another prototype Panton Chair for the collection. Both the beige and red chair below comes from the Panton Design Office.
A new cool piece for the collection showed up the other day but I haven´t had the time to show it until now. First I did not think this stool was a design by Verner Panton but a lot of details points to the direction this really is an “undiscovered Panton Stool” from 1967. […]
Some pictures from the blue office at Pantonworld. A reflection from a metalic chair gives a quite cool mark on the walls.
A first edition Panton Chair in Baydur (1967) arrived to our turqouise shower room today.
Another red Panton Chair came the other day. Both chairs are made in 1971 (july and october according to the stamp) and they match perfect with the Salon Rouge table wich originally had Panton Chairs to it.
Some quick pictures from the almost ready shower room in blue-turquoise.
This special edition Panton Chair was kindly donated by a fellow Panton collector to the Pantonworld collection. I am really happy for it so thanks a lot! It comes out of a small serie of Panton Chairs from Vitra with different patterns. I will show you more about this later.
The Panton Chair is without a dubt Verner Panton most well known design. The next “new” piece in the collection I will show you is Verner’s own prototype / pre-serie chair for the Panton Chair made in 1967! I have seen another prototype /pre-serie chair in yellow/light orange wich also comes from Verner’s home, at […]
Today a friend picked up a this chair for me. It is a red Panton Chair from the third series (1971-79). This very one is an early Fehlbaum (Vitra) production Panton Chair from this serie, dated october 1971. I recently heard the Panton Chair was inspired by the tongue. It could makes sence. The chair […]
Some better pictures of the Panton Chair prototype for the 4:th edition 1998/99. Also some new pictures of the Panton Chair copy.
Today several new pieces showed up. I start with this heavy and strange version of the Panton chair in glassfiber. It stood outside a house in the Netherlands that was under reconstruction. The guy I got it from asked the construction workers if he could take it. He could. It is probably a […]
