Maybe another carpet? This time a mega rare ”Optik” carpet in purple tones. The pattern was designed by Verner Panton in 1969 for Unika Vaev. It’s a kind of mix between a flat rug and a long pile rya. I have only seen this carpet once (an orange version) in an old picture from Verner’s […]
Some new pictures from the violet and the purple room.
The new SP3 is now in place…
Some first pictures of the early version SP3 that just arrived from Germany. I am super exited about this lamp and more pics will follow when I have taken more pieces out of the box. The lamp came with a custom made metal plate wich fits perfectly above the ceiling plate if you bend it […]
Some pictures from the purple room. In the pictures you see a blue “Type G” Ballamp together with two green “Luminous wall objects” from Visiona 2. Also a prototype for the Salami Chair (Dux Sessel) wich was exhibitied at the Heimtextil in Frankfurt.
Got some detail pictures from a friend helping me with picking up a SP3 Spiral lamp from the early 1970:ies. It was likelly bought in Köln and it probably came out of the Visiona 2 exhibition according to the relatives of the former owner. The small hooks and the measurements of some parts indicates this […]
New location for the Type A Ball lamp.
At last some new pictures of the Salon Rouge at Pantonworld.
The lamps, the carpet and the Pantonova sofa are now adjusted a little better in the turquoise room.
I was on a little “Pantour” last weekend… This place was one of the things I checked out. The original musselshell ceiling from the Panton famillie´s residence in Binningen is lend out to the Kunsthalle Basel for the coming years. When checking the ceiling closer I also beleive some ceiling panels might be from their […]
Some new pictures of the “Type A” Ball Lamp in it´s new place. Looks much better like this since you see it through the door frame. We have plans to paint that room purple but also to put up mirrors that completelly covers the background wall. The orange Ring lamps will probably move into that […]
My favorite lamp – The prototype for the UFO LAMP “TYPE IV” from 1973. If anyone has other models, please let me know!
