A new Panton book with about 350 pages from Strandberg publishing in Copenhagen just came out. Since Pantonworld was contributing with ca 40 pictures + info, I planned to go there to meet Marianne Panton and others for the release venue. Then I realised I couldn’t get my scheduale together to have time for everything. […]

Some quick pictures of the turquoise room in progress.
RELAXING ROOM
At last I had time to move out the 700 kilos of enamel panels from Salon Rouge out of this aubergine room. They were stored here until I had the energy to lift them one floor up. My back are killing me but this room is a little more relaxing like this!
PROTOTYPE FABRICS
Here comes 25 more prototype fabrics from Verner Panton´s home in Binningen, Basel. The design is printed on a semi-transparant fabric. These fabrics are testsprints in context of Verner´s expanded Mira-X collection that was released in 1980. The new collection had 86 colours instead of the original 50 colours he used from 1969/70.
WHITE ROOM
Some pictures from the white room we just renovated.
MOBILIA MAGAZINES
17 old Mobilia magazines with Verner Panton´s interior showed up today.

5 TOPAN LAMPS
I bought these Topan lamps some time ago. I took a chance thinking they were matte grey lamps from the first edition but my misstake, they were sandblasted coloured Topan lamps – just as they were described… They look pretty cool anyway.
EARLY FABRIC
The newest Panton fabric in the collection… “EN” from the Universa collection. This series of fabrics was printed by “Vereinigte werkstätten für kunst im handwerk” in 1963.
TOPAN CLUSTER
At last the remaining fifth Topan lamp in place for the grey Topan cluster.
