Welcome to PANTONWORLD, the biggest and most covering private Verner Panton collection in the world. My name is Niklas and I live in Sweden. I always look for new pieces for the collection. Since I am a collector and not a dealer you can be sure I will pay the best for pieces I don´t have in the collection. If I can help you with anything that has to do with Verner Panton´s design or want to sell anything, please contact me at: niklas@pantonworld.com
You can here see everything from one-off prototypes to rare furniture, lamps, carpets, fabrics, objects and much more. All pieces are vintage and I focus to find the first edition or pieces that comes either directly from Verner himself, co-workers or from important places like his exhibitions or original interiors.
The collection holds a big original cantine interior in enamel – Salon Rouge – with almost 150 pieces of wall panels, ceiling panels and lamps. Even a table and a very small piece of the original wall-to-wall carpet. Everything in red!
You can also see a red Wonderlamp “Typ A” from the fair “Heimtextil” in Frankfurt 1971, wich is as far as I know the only remaining example of the biggest Ball Lamp with a chromed ceiling plate.
Other cool pieces are the Ufo Lamp prototype from 1973 (with the original drawing for it), the only complete collection in the world of both the first edition “Anatomie” fabrics from 1968 and the later made re-edition made by Mira-X in 1978.
In the PANTONWORLD collection you can also see over 30 different prototype colours of the rare toy system Pantonaef, including some plates in chrome and some with glued leather on them. There are also furniture and fabrics from Verners first official interior – Hotel Astoria in Trondheim 1960, together with other pieces from later interiors like the Circus Building in Copenhagen 1984.

Several pieces in the PANTONWORLD collection comes from the actual showrooms for Plus Linje, Unika Væv, Mira-X, Fritz Hansen, X-Design, Emalco, J Lüber, Skarridsø and Ege Carpets between the 60:ies to the 90:ies. The earliest piece is Verner Panton´s own door sign from his appartement when he studied to architecht in Copenhagen 1949.
At PANTONWORLD you will learn about Verner´s design and I will do my best to explain as much as I can. I have over the years posted thousands of posts at the blog regarding stories, “new” items for the collection but also how you can determine if something is original or fake.
I am fortuned to have Marianne Panton (above), Carin Panton (below, with me in the Living Tower) and the co-worker Rina Troxler to help me when I can´t find any info about the pieces that comes up. I am also lucky to have very good contacts with former co-workers and friends to the familly. Besides this I have becomed friends with collectors, dealers, manufacturers, museum workers, interior designers and other Panton fans around the world.
A lot of people sends me questions about Verner´s design. I am very happy to help you if I can. Just send me an email if you want to know anything more about a specific piece that you beleive is designed by Verner Panton.
Last but not least, I am very thankful for all the tips you send me where to find pieces I don´t have in the collection. I hope you enjoy the website!
