I got an incredible birthday present from my girlfriend Sophia – A trip to the Vitra Design Museum in Weil Am Rhein to see their exhibition about Verner Panton´s big exhibition VISIONA 2 in 1970. You can see more pictures below.

NEW PANTON TEXTILES
I have been away on a very special trip but I will come to this later… In the meantime, here are some new Verner Panton textiles for the collection.

MIRA-X DRESS
I haven´t presented the idea to any of my three sons yet… But hopefully I will manage to have at least one of them to try this “hot” velvet dress… You will then see pictures.
GRANDE CURTAIN
At last I have found another curtain like this – “GRANDE” from 1975. Now I just need to find the one I had earlier in some box…

STOLEN LAMPS
Here comes an old picture from Søndersø-Centret at the island Fyn in Denmark. Unfortunatelly, all the 15 lamps (“Pantopendel” from 1977) were stolen in 2009 and the centre is now destroyed.
SALAMI CHAIR
The Salami Chair prototype was designed 1965. (It is called “Dux-Sessel” in german). I have now seen very interesting drawings from 1965 were Verner Panton shows different combinations of pillows for this chair.
