At last some time to take new pictures of the aubergine room with a real camera.
Verner Panton
PURPLE PANTOP
Two Pantop shades in the biggest size and original purple paint arrived today. The colour is fantastic!
SKARIDSØ DOOR
This yellow enamel panel is actually a prototype door from the kitchen serie “Skarridan” that Verner Panton designed for Skaridsø in 1980. The door is so heavy that it must have been the worst example of function + design ever. I can not beleive many doors survived longer than a week in a kitchen before […]
PAIR IN MULTICOLOUR
“Pair” from the Panel programme 1978, also called “Spherical people”. Haven’t had this fabric frame up for some years but I think it’s time. I bought it 11 years ago but have never seen another copy of it.
SHOWER ROOM
Some quick pictures from the almost ready shower room in blue-turquoise.
POLYTHEMA CHAIR
This VP01 “Tutenstuhl” Type B from 1994 is a later made edition of Verner Panton’s Cone chair designed in 1959. Polythema made some different versions. All chairs are numbered. The cone base is made of thick layers of leather that moves a little when you sit in it, very comfortable.
CONE CHAIR
Another donated chair. Thanks again! This old Cone Chair is likely from 1967-69 something. It is not easy to date and first I was sure it was a copy. Now I don’t know. One idea could be that this is an early test from Gebruder Nehl in Germany who got the license of producing them […]
THANK YOU
This special edition Panton Chair was kindly donated by a fellow Panton collector to the Pantonworld collection. I am really happy for it so thanks a lot! It comes out of a small serie of Panton Chairs from Vitra with different patterns. I will show you more about this later.

Several multicoloured Wave curtains in velour also arrived. All of these curtains has been hanging in a german appartement since the begining of the 80:ies.
