VARNA 1971
I have now got some of the old slides from the Mira-X agent, converted into digital pictures. Here is one picture from 1971 wich shows the Varna Restaurant in Århus, Denmark. I want the blue enamel panels… Where are you?!
PROTOTYPE PANEL #2
Here are some pictures of another prototype enamel panel, called “C1”. This one is a little smaller than the usual size and measures 47 x 47 x 2 cm.
PROTOTYPE PANEL #1
Some new pictures of my green “C2” enamel panel. It measures 62,5 x 62,5 x 2 cm. Green panels was never in serial production but some prototypes were made and used in the garden of the Panton residence.
MAGENTA ROOM
Some better pictures of the the magenta room. Also some pictures of the red square enamel table plate on the wall.
LARGE ENAMEL PIECE
This big red enamel table plate has been packed down the last year. The renovation at home slowed down my plans for it but now it is up on the wall. As a table with the inner wooden plate in it, the weight is probably near 100 kilos. The size is 125 […]
COLOURS
Some new pictures from our rooms.
ENAMEL KVADRATS
Slowly I am trying to arrange things in order after the renovation. Verners enamel panels are on top of my best liked pieces. Here you have a rare set with kvadrats.
EMALCO
Another cool thing that arrived today is this heavy enamel broschure holder from the early 70:ies. Emalco was the company who made all Verner Pantons enamel work such as Flowerpot lamps, wall panels, tables and more. Before 1971 the company was named Emaillerie Corgemont so this has to be from when they changed name […]
SALON ROUGE ADJUSTEMENTS
I have now moved the heavy wall panels around to see if I find a good symetric pattern before attaching them on the walls at monday. They can work out like this but I will also move the Fun lamps a half panel to the center and adjust the lamp and panels on the shorter […]
SALON ROUGE TO PANTON WORLD
This picture was taken about 20 years ago. It is probably one of the last pictures of what use to be Verner Pantons interior design “Salon Rouge” at Emalco. I am very happy to now have this fantastic interior in the Panton World collection. The Emaillerie Corgémont (Emalco since 1971) was founded in 1932 under […]
SALON ROUGE CANTEENE
The “Salon Rouge” was designed by Verner Panton in 1971/72. It was the canteene for the employes of Emaillerie Corgemont but also worked as a showroom for their high quality enamel pieces. Emaillerie Corgemont was the manufacturer for making the Flowerpot lamps to Louis Poulsen from the 60:ies but they also made the wall […]
