Made by furniture maker at Fyn 14:th of may 1958.
Year of design: ca 1957.
W: 48,5 D: 58 cm H: 80 cm
Colour: Red textile / orange feets.
Material: Steel / fabric.
Manufacturer: Møbelpolstrer N. Nyborg-Nielsen. A black smith at Fyn made the shells out of iron sheets.
Country: Denmark.
Remarks: Very important piece. 50 chairs were made for Verner Panton´s fathers restaurant “Komigen Kro” at the danish island Fyn. Only a few chairs has survived and this is one of the only two known chairs with the original textile intact. Mega rare and and a historic piece. Dated 14:th of may 1958. The chair has a special mounting of the foot with a wooden cone that also shapes and keep the chair stabile. The textile is the same type that was used for the uniforms of the Danish Royal Guards.
