CONE CHAIR
This Cone Chair showed up today. The colour is fantastic! The foam is very dry and there are some small stains and damages but I hope that can be fixed.
ART LINE
Our familly was today in Denmark to pick up some Panton memories from 1986. This serie, “Art line”, was presented by Ege Axminster A/S and Percy von Halling-Koch. Several artists where invited to perticipate with a design. Verner Panton came up with “Stones 1” and “Stones 2” (same as Stone 1 […]
WIRE CONE CHAIR
I bought this Wire Cone Chair some time ago but I haven’t got it home yet. This is a model I have never seen before. I guess it comes from the early 70:ies and perhaps it could be a protype made by Fritz Hansen or X-Design. It has some details “borrowed” from […]
YELLOW ROOM
Here comes some pictures of the yellow Unika Væv curtains in our kids yellow room.
NEW CARPET TO PANTONWORLD
This Geometri 1 carpet came today. It is Verner Pantons earliest carpet from 1960. This is the larger model and it measures 228×228 cm:s. It would need a careful wash but it was in better condition than I expected. All three tags on the backside where […]
PANTOP TABLE LAMP
This Pantop table lamp arrived today. I was told this lamp was from Louis Poulsen wich means it would be an old one. When I got it, it says Frandsen Lighting under it so it is clearly a re-edition from the company that later became Verpan. It is very similar to the first version […]
CIRCUS BUILDING
Not many original Verner Panton interiors are left in the world but here is one place where you still can see some items left – “Circusbygningen” in Copenhagen, Denmark. Unfortunatelly it was closed when I was there. (Just as the latest 10 times I have tried to go in and have a […]
COPENHAGEN APPARTEMENT
I had to go by Verner Panton’s former appartement at Toldbofgade in Copenhagen. The coloured blinds, a white Panthella lamp and a Fun 1 lamp is still visible in there. I haven’t seen the exterior of this place earlier. Here you can see the interior pictures from when Marianne and Verner Panton lived there: http://www.verner-panton.com/spaces/archive/phase/695/
UNIKA VAEV CURTAINS
I bought something else from the Unika Væv lady in Copenhagen – Eleven lenghts of yellow/orange curtains in wool. The colour is very vibrant. She bought them from Unika Væv over 50 years ago.
