At last some progress with the new and bigger room for the kids. I have tried to think smart and visualise where the lamps shall hang in here. The plan is to have all electrical cords coming out directly from the ceiling so you won’t […]

BOLIVIA FABRIC
I have now started to sort out wich seats from the Circus building I will keep and wich seats I will take apart and use fabric from. The Circus building seats have the same furnishing fabric as Verners furniture from Plus Linje. I have been looking for this fabric for a long time. […]
MEDALLION
The next item is another Cirkus Building medallion. The plan is to polish one of them to see if it gets back the shine from 1984.
MORE LAMPS
Two other things that came yesterday. A Pantop wall lamp (30 cm wide) and another white small Pantop pendant lamp (23 cm in diameter) with the original tag. I will use the small lamp together with others to build a cluster of 10 lamps.
BLUE MIRA TULLE
Some new things has arrived. For example a large blue Mira Tülle curtain. I was very lucky regarding the height for it. It hangs some centimeters from the floor. This curtain has a slightly different blue tone than the similar I have since earlier but this gives a better light. The Geometri I […]
PANTON DESIGN IN DANISH TV
The danish television has a tv-show “Kender du typen” where you shall guess who lives there. I know this guy… This time you can see some Verner Panton design here: https://www.dr.dk/tv/se/kender-du-typen-efterar-2015/kender-du-typen-2-8-5?queryhash=!%2F00%3A00%3A00
MULTICOLOUR SOFA
A first look at the Circus building chairs when all six colours are put together. Below you see the very same chairs in 1984.
A LOT OF SEATINGS
55 seatings and backrests from Verner’s interior at the Circus building are now carried into the house. The total weight is nearly 600 kilos.
CIRCUS SAFARI
Puah! Just squeezed in a lot of Circus Building seats in the car. Todays “Pantour” was more like a safari than a pick up of Panton items. The seatings have been stored in an old basement for some time. When we opened the doors, a cat ran out of there and you could tell other […]
NEW PANTOUR TODAY
Some quick pictures from what I picked up in Denmark today. First, a “Roulette” carpet in golden colours from 1965. This one is in mint condition and seems to never have been used. The tags are still there too. Then something I have never seen before. A pair of Cone Chairs […]
NEW CARPET
Here comes an early Panton carpet I didn’t expect to find – a short pile grey “Geometri V” carpet from 1960. One of my three sons, Julian, imediatelly started to play on it so I will try to take better pictures of it when it isn’t occupied… This carpet is in very good condition, without […]
CURTAIN TEST 2
The next test for curtains in our blue room are these with a “Stripe II” pattern. There are two regular curtains on each side but also a “striped” Mira-Tülle curtain in the middle wich is semi transparant.
