A LOT OF SEATINGS
55 seatings and backrests from Verner’s interior at the Circus building are now carried into the house. The total weight is nearly 600 kilos.
CIRCUS SAFARI
Puah! Just squeezed in a lot of Circus Building seats in the car. Todays “Pantour” was more like a safari than a pick up of Panton items. The seatings have been stored in an old basement for some time. When we opened the doors, a cat ran out of there and you could tell other […]
NEW PANTOUR TODAY
Some quick pictures from what I picked up in Denmark today. First, a “Roulette” carpet in golden colours from 1965. This one is in mint condition and seems to never have been used. The tags are still there too. Then something I have never seen before. A pair of Cone Chairs […]
NEW CARPET
Here comes an early Panton carpet I didn’t expect to find – a short pile grey “Geometri V” carpet from 1960. One of my three sons, Julian, imediatelly started to play on it so I will try to take better pictures of it when it isn’t occupied… This carpet is in very good condition, without […]
CURTAIN TEST 2
The next test for curtains in our blue room are these with a “Stripe II” pattern. There are two regular curtains on each side but also a “striped” Mira-Tülle curtain in the middle wich is semi transparant.
RARE CARPET
A first teaser of a rare carpet…
PROTOTYPE CHAIR?
Some new pieces came today. The first thing I will show you is this unusual edition of a Wire Cone Chair. It actually looks a little bit like a hybrid between a Pantonova dining chair and a Wire Cone Chair. The measurements are about the same as a Cone Chair from […]
“MAGNUM” FABRIC
Today I received a new fabric for the collection. This one is called Magnum and was designed by Verner Panton for Mira-X. It is from Verners collection Granite 1985.
CURTAIN TEST 1
Trying out curtains for the new blue room. Here comes the first test with Curve II curtains in multicoloured velour.
EUROPA GRAND HOTEL
Have you ever been curious what happend to the Europa Grand Hotel who had rooms with Panton interior? It ended like most of Verners interiors…
BLUE START
I have now slowely started to move in some furniture, lamps and other objects in the new blue room. The blue and yellow wall element you see here is a prototype for the Visiona 2 exhibition 1970. Verner decided to use two tones of green for the exhibition.
