Next project is to hang three orange Spiegel lamps on the wall here (I have one more). We will then move the mirror sculpture to another wall.

NEW PIECES
Some of the pieces from the last “Pantour”. Below you see the four “new” Cone Chairs together with other pieces I already had.
CRAZY SET
Just a quick picture of the next treasure… A super set of Cone Chairs + a low “three-fot” table from Plus Linje’s first edition, bought ca 1960 in a shop in central Copenhagen. They were at that time exhibited in the shops window out for sale and the former owner have had them since then.
PANTOUR TODAY
A little ”Pantour” today to pick up some Panton items. First up is this 50 cm version of the New Wave pendant lamp from the 80:ies. It was much bigger and heavier than first expected. More pics will come. Now heading for more pieces…
LIGHTS
At last some lamp bulbs that fitted in the “Visiona 2” panels. They look kind of cool with lights in them!
RARE BLUE PANTOP
A new Pantop lamp in the largest size (45 cm) just arrived to the collection. Haven’t seen this color before. It cames from a lady at the island Fyn very near where Verner Panton’s father’s restaurant Kom-Igen was located in the 50:ies. She earlier had several of these and by a coincidence I just bought […]
VISIONA 2 LAMPS
A quick test of the “Luminous wall elements” from Visiona 2 with a mirror to the left and lamp bulbs inside the big hemispheres at the bottom. I need to build some sort of back plate with lamps for the two panels I have. If mounted next to a mirror, the pattern will be shaped […]
NEW PICS
Some new pics from the rooms at Pantonworld.
NEW COSTUME
Another Panton project that has been on hold for a while is to give this Plus Linje ”T5” Peacock chair a new costume. I have been collecting original ”Bolivia” fabrics for some years to save enough pieces for a full upholstery. I hope this blue-violet fabric could work for ”new” cushions for the T5 Chair […]
PURPLE WINDOW FRAMES
The last layer of purple is done for the window frames. Next step is to find a purple “see through” curtain instead of the aubergine you see here.
WASHING VISIONA PANELS
At last some time to wash and polish the two green wall elements from Visiona 2. Here you also get an idea how they look with light in them even if the light system at Visiona 2 was more focused to only glow in the big spheres.
Enjoy the weekend all Panton fans out there!
