Two other things that came yesterday. A Pantop wall lamp (30 cm wide) and another white small Pantop pendant lamp (23 cm in diameter) with the original tag. I will use the small lamp together with others to build a cluster of 10 lamps.

JYLLANDS-POSTEN 1978
Today I got an article from Jyllands-Posten the 8:th of march 1978. It says Verner Panton shared a furniture prize with two other architects. Verner´s part was 30 000 DKK and I guess that must have been very good in 1978.
EARLY WALL LAMP
When we rebuilt our blue room I had the chance to arrange new electric connections inside the walls. Then this lamp now have a perfect spot. This lamp is one of my favorites even though it is a pretty small object. It is a prototype lamp version for the “floating system” around 1960. The Topan […]
CURTAIN TEST 3
A new test of curtains for the blue room – “Checkers II” pattern in velour from 1969. I think I like these the best so far. The light goes through them in a cool way. Still need to do something with the floor and also the wiring/hanging of the lamps.
CIRCUS BUILDING SEATS
Some pictures of the seats from the Circus building in Copenhagen. The green seat was unfortunatelly damaged during the storage time since I bought them a couple of months ago. I will replace that later. And of course give them a little cleaning.
WIRE CONE CHAIR
Some better picture of the Wire Cone chair.
SMALL PANTOP LAMPS
Four more Pantop lamps from Elteva arrived today. This time it is two ceiling lamps in white and two rare wall lamps, “Pantop CV”. All are in the smallest size with a diameter of 23 cm.
MOON LAMP
This Moon Lamp in acryl arrived today. It still has all the original parts from the 60:ies and the lamp holder is an old version in metal.
PANTONOVA SYSTEM
Just want to share some pictures of this Pantonova sofa system from 1971. The sofa matches pretty good with the turquise Tiscalong carpet and a Big Flowerpot lamp, also in turquise. The chromed Topan lamps takes up the colours from the room as well.
RARE PRINT
This rare Verner Panton offset print came today. It is mounted in a broken frame but the print it self seems to be in good condition. The pattern is from Verners design for Mira-X 1969 and shows kvadrats in different sizes and colours. The size of the print is 62,5 x 62,5 cm.
PANTON IN DANISH TV
Verner Panton – et dansk ikon | TV | DR https://www.dr.dk/tv/se/verner-panton/verner-panton-et-dansk-ikon WOW! This was really a cool reportage about the one and only – Verner Panton. It is over 40 minutes long.
CONGRATULATIONS NORWAY
It is today the norweigian National Day so here comes a picture from Norway. This very chair (early version of the Wire Cone K2) was a gift from Plus Linje to the owner of the Astoria Hotel in the early 60:ies. The same chair was exhibited at the Myresjö Pavillion in the spring 1960. You […]
