Some new things has arrived. For example a large blue Mira Tülle curtain. I was very lucky regarding the height for it. It hangs some centimeters from the floor. This curtain has a slightly different blue tone than the similar I have since earlier but this gives a better light. The Geometri I […]

CIRCUS SAFARI
Puah! Just squeezed in a lot of Circus Building seats in the car. Todays “Pantour” was more like a safari than a pick up of Panton items. The seatings have been stored in an old basement for some time. When we opened the doors, a cat ran out of there and you could tell other […]
CURTAIN TEST 3
A new test of curtains for the blue room – “Checkers II” pattern in velour from 1969. I think I like these the best so far. The light goes through them in a cool way. Still need to do something with the floor and also the wiring/hanging of the lamps.
CIRCUS BUILDING SEATS
Some pictures of the seats from the Circus building in Copenhagen. The green seat was unfortunatelly damaged during the storage time since I bought them a couple of months ago. I will replace that later. And of course give them a little cleaning.
CURTAIN TEST 2
The next test for curtains in our blue room are these with a “Stripe II” pattern. There are two regular curtains on each side but also a “striped” Mira-Tülle curtain in the middle wich is semi transparant.
“MAGNUM” FABRIC
Today I received a new fabric for the collection. This one is called Magnum and was designed by Verner Panton for Mira-X. It is from Verners collection Granite 1985.
CURTAIN TEST 1
Trying out curtains for the new blue room. Here comes the first test with Curve II curtains in multicoloured velour.
BLUE ROOM
Some pictures of the new blue room. I still have some work before it is ready built and I haven´t yet decided what pieces to have here.
EUROPA GRAND HOTEL
Have you ever been curious what happend to the Europa Grand Hotel who had rooms with Panton interior? It ended like most of Verners interiors…
BLUE START
I have now slowely started to move in some furniture, lamps and other objects in the new blue room. The blue and yellow wall element you see here is a prototype for the Visiona 2 exhibition 1970. Verner decided to use two tones of green for the exhibition.
MIRA DOMO
This MIRA DOMO wall-to-wall carpet has been rolled up for some years now. I got it from the familly of the swedish agent of Verners products, Sten Hermansson. It was extremelly dirty when I got it but I am amazed how it turned out after some heavy cleaning today. I had to cut it […]
PANTONOVA SYSTEM
Just want to share some pictures of this Pantonova sofa system from 1971. The sofa matches pretty good with the turquise Tiscalong carpet and a Big Flowerpot lamp, also in turquise. The chromed Topan lamps takes up the colours from the room as well.
