YELLOW TEST
Next room to start with is our kitchen wich will be all yellow soon. Here is just a quick roll up test to see the color. It exactly matches the yellow wire table.
SALON ROUGE WITH CURTAINS
Some better pictures of the Salon Rouge in progress – now with red “Mira-Tülle” curtains. For our last house I arranged the length of these curtains. Now I need to do that all over again… It is really a hard work since it´s about 30 meters width!
CANTINE CURTAINS
Next step to set up the Salon Rouge cantine was to put up some Mira-X “see through” curtains in red. These curtains doesn’t come from Salon Rouge originally but they come from another cantine Verner Panton made the interior for.
PROTOTYPE PANEL
Original Verner Panton prototype wall panel / “Luminous wall object” for the Visiona 2 exhibition 1970. This is one of only two remaining prototypes known made by Horlacher. For the exhibition, Verner decided to use panels in two shades of green but unfortunatelly all of them were thrown away after the exhibition according to Marianne […]
COOL PROVINANCE
Another pair of a very rare curtain in multicolored velor. “Kvadrat II” – also from the home of Verner Panton’s brother in the 70:ies. They have earlier hanged in the same place for about 40 years!
WASHING DAY
First set of curtains to be clean again. This is “Circle II” curtains from the home of Verner Panton’s brother in the 70:ies.
PINK BEDROOM
Next room to paint is our bedroom wich will be all pink / magenta. Really poor pictures here but I just took them as a comparison when we have done a little more later on. In the end it will have the wall and ceiling colour you see in the picture below from our old […]
BLUE ROOM
The blue office is also taking shape. I especially like the Pantonaef model above the aquarium. It has some chromed plates in it wich reflects the light. Those chromed plates and also some different purple plates comes from Verner Panton´s own pre-serie of the Pantonaef system wich he developed 1975, before he contacted the swiss […]
SALON ROUGE
The hardest work is now done and the next step is to finish some details and paint some walls ready. I will probably also hang longer red “see-through” curtains in the window. After this room I will start to make a yellow kitchen wich is next to this room.
CLEANING
Just picked out and washed 10 small Flowerpot lamps out of the boxes from Salon Rouge. The electric needs to be re-installed before I put them up in the ceiling so I have some hours of work ahead.
