Original Verner Panton prototype wall panel / “Luminous wall object” for the Visiona 2 exhibition 1970. This is one of only two remaining prototypes known made by Horlacher. For the exhibition, Verner decided to use panels in two shades of green but unfortunatelly all of them were thrown away after the exhibition according to Marianne Panton. Similar panels in all different colors have been sold as originals in auctions and galleries but so far, all of them have been fakes. It took me some time before I figure out why it had these colours and why the plastic was a bit special. Then I realised the green panels at Visiona 2 were actually wall lamps. So is this one and I will show you this with light in it later.
