About time to mount some Anatomie fabrics on wooden frames. This is the first prototype version made by Paul Boheim in context of Visiona 0 in 1968. The fabric is actually longer than you see here but the “Hand” above this is cut. Must be the biggest piece of the “Hand” design I have ever […]

NEW FINISH
All rooms in our house are colored in some way and up until now we have used white switches and electrical plugs. Now we changed to a more homogen matte silver finish wich looks much better. We also managed to get up the Spy lamp as a ceiling lamp after beeing in a box for […]
SP3
At last I re-arranged one Spiral lamp “SP2” and one “SP01” into a larger “SP3”.
LEUCHTSÄULEN – COLUMN OF LIGHT
Ever since I started collecting Panton, I have had some pieces I really wanted to find. This object has been a dream piece for a long time now and I counted to more than 11 years trying to get it. “Leuchtsäulen” is the german name wich can be translated in english as “Column of light”. […]
CRAZY OBJECT
A little teaser of what I have been waiting for about 12 years to take over… can you see what it is?
NEW WAVE 1984
A new piece for the collection. This is a part from a New Wave table lamp from 1984. I will probably use it for decoration or perhaps check how it looks with a lamp bulb inside. It was a bit bigger than expected.
COOL CURTAINS
Just started to fix the red “Mira-Tülle” curtains into the correct height. What a difference! (And maybe easier to vaccum clean… ehh). Soon we will have 9 curtains like this to cover several windows in the red and orange rooms at Pantonworld. These curtains comes from the home of a co-worker to Verner in the […]
ANATOMIE FEETS
A rare and cool Verner Panton fabric in cognac colors arrived today. This is “Feets” from the Anatomic serie by Mira-X 1978. I am very happy to finally find this Mira-X edition of the Anatomic Feets fabric. I now have all different patterns from both the original manufacturer Paul Borheim 1968 and Mira-X 10 years […]
BETTER PICTURES
After years with a constantly full and old phone with cracks all over the display, I just got a new Iphone X with a very good camera. Just trying it out at some pieces at home. And yes, it started to snow today as well…
XXL MIRA-X STUDIO
I must say this Mira-X studio was quite impressing! The floor shows all the 50 colors from the wall-to-wall program “Contract I”. Along the walls you see all different fabric designs and in the ceiling you see large chromed Flowerpot lamps. This picture is from ca 1978.
MIRA DOMINO
This tripple “Mira Domino” carpet came to Pantonworld about 6 months ago but I haven’t had the time to put it up until now. It comes from one of the german Mira-X co-workers that now passed away.
MIRADECOR 1971
Here is Verner Panton´s first Mira-X set from 1971. Showing Toile Sac, tülle and velour.
