There are many pieces coming in these days. Here comes a Panton lamp from 1980 that I never seen before. The biggest version of the Pantop lamp in a chromed table version. It was in very good condition without any bumps or schratches. The lamp was much heavier than expected.
Two other things that came yesterday. A Pantop wall lamp (30 cm wide) and another white small Pantop pendant lamp (23 cm in diameter) with the original tag. I will use the small lamp together with others to build a cluster of 10 lamps.
Four more Pantop lamps from Elteva arrived today. This time it is two ceiling lamps in white and two rare wall lamps, “Pantop CV”. All are in the smallest size with a diameter of 23 cm.
Two pink and two yellow small Pantop lamps from the Circus building in Copenhagen are now in the Pantonworld collection as well. There are still lamps like this hanging in there. I will soon show you better pics from my camera. Here is just a quick picture I took through the winows with my mobile […]
The “Lighting”-area here at Panton World are now updated with some new pics. There are still many lamps and other objects to show here but with a full time work and three small kids… puah. Anyway, here comes first some better pictures of a silver-grey Pan-Top lamp from 1984. It is 45 cm in diameter, […]
Different views of the red Pantop lamp from 1980.
This is a Pantop Lamp designed in 1980. I haven’t really thought this was so nice before but I just realised the shape must come from Verner Pantons “Curve” design. The lines matches perfectly! It will probably look good together with a “Large Curve” fabric.
The other pictures you saw earlier was taken with my mobile phone so here are some better. This was a prototype for the Pantop lamp designed in 1980. This colour, violet, was not made in serial production. This very lamp was used in a Panton exhibition and originally came from Verner Panton himself.
I try to find atleast one piece from every design that Verner Panton made. Here is a new one for the collection and this lamp series is called Pantop. They have been made by several manufacturers through the years and also in different shapes but this is one from the first series in 1980. It […]
