At last! Everything is connected and up. Some small adjustments are left and the ceiling panels need to be back on place but at last some light over the dining table.
Some pictures from the blue office in progress.
This Light Sculpture prototype is also new for us. It is actually 4 smaller “cubes” put together into one tall. I haven´t had the time to put in light bulbs yet but more pics will come later. We will use them together with the bigger one in our upcoming pink bedroom.
Some quick pictures of the turquoise room in progress.
Some new pics from the turquoise room in progress. Still some layers of paint to go but the colour is great to blue/turquoise objects.
I have now collected some pieces that could look cool in a future turquoise room. The Big Flowerpot lamp will be more over the couch table and there will also be a big blue/turquoise Tiscalong carpet under the Pantonova sofa. Just need to take everything away again and start painting the walls and ceiling…
The picture above shows a Bobinette “Geometri V”curtain from 1960. That picture was taken 5,5 years ago and when I saw that picture I had a some hope to be able to get that from the previous owner one day. Then the fabrics was again cleaned away… until now! The owners have now found it […]
At last some time to take new pictures of the aubergine room with a real camera.
This yellow enamel panel is actually a prototype door from the kitchen serie “Skarridan” that Verner Panton designed for Skaridsø in 1980. The door is so heavy that it must have been the worst example of function + design ever. I can not beleive many doors survived longer than a week in a kitchen before […]
Some new pictures from the new house. The biggest room on the top floor will be white for now. We plan to have the ground floor in stronger colours.
A lot of Verner Panton pieces has arrived latelly but I haven´t had the time to take pictures of everything. Here you have another round Mira Romantica carpet from 1975. It measures 250 cm in diameter. I had one in the collection sinc earlier. The condition is perfect.
Today I received a fantastic piece of Panton history. This is a piece of the gigantic scene curtain at Cirkusbygningen in Copenhagen 1984. The pattern is based on the “Kvadrat I” design from 1970 but is a little modified here. It has only 7 colours instead of 8 and the 7:th colour is a golden […]
