Here you have the first Mira-X carpet program with 50 colors from 1971. This wall-to-wall carpet “Contract I” was widelly used in Verner´s interiors.
Some time ago I was lucky to be offered a hugh collection of documents, drawings, photos, and test pieces from Verner Panton´s work. As an example of it you can here see test pieces of different qualities for Verner Panton´s wall-to-wall carpets made by Mira-X in 1976. In the first picture you see the upper […]
At last some new pictures of the Salon Rouge at Pantonworld.
I have taken some new pictures of Salon Rouge at Pantonworld. Here is a little preview of the enamel ceiling. More will follow soon.
Some pictures of the curtains “Mira Fancy” when they are up. The violet color is really cool!
One fabric that I have looked for the last 10 years. A real favorite! This fabric print “Panel Programme” is based on the motive from enamel panels with kissing faces that Verner used in their house in Binningen. You can also see this design on the enamel gates outside the same house. The fabric is […]
Another fabric for the collection that I didn´t have earlier. The large version of the “Luna” in multicolor.
Another prototype fabric from Verner Panton. This was called “Indigo” and as you see in the edge, Verner´s co-worker dated it to the 6:th november 1977. As far as I know, this print never came to serial production.
I have never seen the Wave pattern in a small version before. It was one of the few prints I missed in the collection to have all versions of the classical multicolor prints from the 70:ies – in the sizes small, medium and large.
The lamps, the carpet and the Pantonova sofa are now adjusted a little better in the turquoise room.
Some new pictures of the “Type A” Ball Lamp in it´s new place. Looks much better like this since you see it through the door frame. We have plans to paint that room purple but also to put up mirrors that completelly covers the background wall. The orange Ring lamps will probably move into that […]
These four prototype fabrics from the 1983 Orbit Collection comes from a co-worker to Verner Panton.
