Today we mounted the heavy Flowerpot lamp-cluster in the basement ceiling. I guess I will have to re-arrange everything here. Maybe it would have been cool to have the lamp centered in the room with the large round Mira Romantica carpet under it.

Julian in “his lamp cabin”. The ceiling plate is now adjusted as well and I only need some strong friends to lift it up…

Everything is connected and the lamp cluster seems to work. I will try to hang it up in the ceiling soon.

I am getting closer and closer. This gigantic cluster (120 cm in diameter and probably over 50 kilos heavy) is almost finished. I am kind of tired to work with it so perhaps I take a little break. I need to connect all the cables together above the plate before hanging it to place.

A quick update. All 33 Flowerpot lamps are now into place with black fabric cord. There are some small adjustments left.

After 180 km of driving today I got another 11,5 meters of fabric cord. It was sold out in Göteborg so I went to another city. I have now used the whole stock in two stores who sells this cord. I would need another 10 meters to make the lamp complete but I guess it […]

I ran out of fabric cord to make the last “circle” of lamps. Maybe 15-20 meters more will do it. The lamps doesn’t hang straight but I will sort that out soon.

The two inner raws are ready. So far nine lamps but this goes very slow. It seems like I need to do something to help the table. It is very heavy already.

Not easy to do this when taking care of sick kids in the same time. Anyhow, I have at least started with three. Only 30 more lamps to go…

Just polished over 33 chromed Flowerpot lamps. I guess connecting all the electric is even more boring.
