PANTONOVA STOOL
Some pictures of another new Verner Panton piece in the collection – a Stool 240 S from the Pantonova system made by X-Design 1972. The dirty Miralastic fabric is original. I hope to get it cleaner. Or maybe I will change it to another Miralastic fabric in a different colour.
TOPAN LAMPS WITH DIFUSOR
These came the other day too. If anyone has Topan lamps with this grey difusor and wants to sell it, please let me know. I have four with difusor in total (including one green) but would like some more to make a formation.
THE PLATE IS READY
The ceiling plate for 33 chromed Flowerpot lamps are now ready. The next step is to find cables for my lamps but also to connect everything together. And then get everything up in the ceiling… Puah!
BLACK CORDS
I have now lowered all lamps in the violet room and also changed the cords into black ones. The cords were earlier white. This feels much better and you don’t get hit by direct light either.
PANTON MOVIE ALARM
A friend just watched a movie from 1975 with a Verner Panton FUN 3 lamp. The movie is “Derric” – Episode 9 – “Paddenberg”. Enjoy if you watch the movie!
CURVE LAMP?
This is a Pantop Lamp designed in 1980. I haven’t really thought this was so nice before but I just realised the shape must come from Verner Pantons “Curve” design. The lines matches perfectly! It will probably look good together with a “Large Curve” fabric.
NEXT TRY
Ok, now I got the correct purple colour I wanted on this plate. Just some more layers then…
NEW PANTON PIECES
Some new Verner Panton design showed up today. You will see more of it soon.
OTIS DINING ROOM
Otis eats his evening sandwich in the new hall.
NOT PURPLE
Ahhh… When the first layer of “purple” paint was dry, I realised I took the wrong colour! This is Panton’s violet colour… It is not easy to see how the colour will be when dry so I didn’t react when the wet colour looked more violet than purple. Need to do this all over again […]
FIRST LAYER OF PURPLE
I have now started to paint the first layer of purple paint on the big ceiling plate. I guess three layers are needed.
