I walked by these windows some time ago. The curtains looks like the backside of “Stripe II” curtains in multicolour (see below) but I can not really tell without seeing the frontside. I need to find the owner but it has been shutted down for many years so it will need some work.

UNIKA VAEV
I got this today. It comes from a relative to an american interior designer in the 60:ies. It is covered in orange Bolivia fabric wich was used for Verner’s Cone Chairs at that time.
FIRST PANTOUR 2016
On my way back from the first Pantour 2016…
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Happy new year! This picture comes from the exhibition “Visiona 2” in Cologne 1970. Pretty cool environment! See you in 2016!
LAMP MOVE
The big Typ A lamp is now moved so I can continue the painting of the other half of the room. It goes very slow… But the magenta colour is super in this room. I will also use curtains in the same colour when ready.
POLYTHEMA CATALOGUE
I got a nice present from a fellow Panton collector – A Polythema catalogue with Verners design from the 90:ies.
THIRD LAYER OF PAINT
The third layer of magenta paint is now up. Two more layers to go… And then at least five layers of paint in the other part of the room…
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Merry Christmas! I had a quite unexpected gift from my mother. A “Three light”-bulb made for the Panthella lamp wich have three steps for different strenghts of the light. People who uses a standard lamp in their Panthella lamp for the first time always think their lamp is broken. It first works after some […]
TYPE H BALL LAMP
I have waited for this Type H Ball Lamp some years now and the previous owner promised me to get it when he was “ready” with it. Some weeks ago he told me the good news and today it arrived! He bought it cheap from a lady at a fleamarket in Paris about 15 […]
MAGENTA PROJECT
A little “relaxing” christmas project is to change the blue room into a magenta room (and with a more matte finish). I liked the earlier blue but all other colours on this floor are warm so this probably match better. Unfortunatelly, I know this colour tone needs about five layers to cover properly and I […]
BOBINETTE CURTAINS
A nice pair of “Geometri I” curtains in a “see through” fabric came today. These are also called “Bobinette” after a model who promoted them in 1960:ies. Verner Panton designed these for the danish company Unika Vaev in 1960.
VARNA RESTAURANT 1971
Some other very rare pictures of the Varna Restaurant 1971. This was the main corridor from the entrance. If you have any of the lamps or fabrics, please let me know: niklas@pantonworld.com
