Just the ceiling + Flowerpot lamps left to mount but I have to wait until next tuesday to get the neccesary parts for that.
I have now started to put up the smaller enamel panels from Salon Rouge. The plan is another 20 panels will cover the ceiling over the table together with 20 Flowerpot lamps in two formations. Just waiting for some mounting pieces.
A new and better order for the wall panels. When all have a place I will restore the ceiling and floor frames in some places. The new plan for the dining room is to use 16 ceiling panels (62,5 x 62,5 cm each) on the back wall that goes up to the ceiling where 20 […]
Three more wall panels are up but I think I will use other patterns for this side of the room. The main project today was to cut out 2 cm:s from the ceiling to be able to use these panels. (If you see two twins above, something must be wrong, they are secret agents so […]
Time to continue with the Salon Rouge wall panels for the opposite wall.
Some tests with these extra large wall panels from Salon Rouge. I am waiting for a mounting system to be able to attach the enamel ceiling and lamps over the dining room area.
Some cool pictures from fair stands for Emaillerie Corgemont ca 1971. I have showed these two pictures before but here they are again in even better quality.
Some of the Salon Rouge panels are now up. I will try different designs with the patterns before continuing with step two wich is to mount the ceiling and a lot of lamps in formations. The background colour of the walls and ceiling will be painted strong red.
Everything is now prepared to start painting the little kitchen in our new house. It will be red and I guess the paint needs about 6 layers to cover. Those strong colours are more transparant than the usual “light coloured” paint so it is a lot of work with it. I will use the red […]
I have now moved the heavy wall panels around to see if I find a good symetric pattern before attaching them on the walls at monday. They can work out like this but I will also move the Fun lamps a half panel to the center and adjust the lamp and panels on the shorter […]
I haven´t had the time to hang the Salon Rouge panels on the walls but I try different patterns.
