It took me almost all night to put up the Type A Ball Lamp. I couldn’t stop when started… There is one more string to put into the lamp but that last one needs a little adjustement first.
The lamp has been packed down for about 40 years but the electricity works perfect. I was lucky to get all parts. Even the 4 screws that attach the plate to the ceiling is the ones that has been used from the begining. The chromed plate is more golden than silver today.
The gigantic ceiling plate for the Type A lamp is now up. To be continued…

At last we have all wall panels up! I would never have done this without help from my very good carpenter friends. Julian did the finishing vaccum cleaning job.
I am trying to clear the aubergine room a little bit. The goal is to have the Typ A ball lamp somewhere here but I need to change a lot of other things first.
The floor and walls are not in level in this house so to put them up is not easy. Especially when the walls are in concrete and each panel weights about 40 kilos.
