1965 OPTIK FABRIC
Today I also got a hold of a rare piece of fabric from 1965. The pattern is called OPTIK and this pieces comes from Verner Panton´s co-worker in Denmark during the sixties when they were working for Unika Vaev and Plus Linje.

TYPE G IN DAYLIGHT
[2jslideshow id=”35631″] Some more pictures of the Type G Ball lamp in daylight.
BLUE BALL LAMP
Now the Typ G lamp has found it´s original length of 140 cm again. Next step is to clean the lamp and adjust the lamp holders.
TYPE G

RARE PIECE
Something VERY rare and cool arrived today. Come back later tonight and you will see what is…
CRAZY COLOURS
Today I framed this prototype “Curve II” fabric. The material is a type of coated fine meshed fabric so the colours become stronger than the serial produced versions in cotton and velour.
SP3
At last I had some time to adjust our SP3 in white to a height of exactly 220 cm (like in the most catalogues). This one was earlier a bit to tall and it didn’t even fit in the new house.
NEW PLACE
There will soon be some super cool addition in the lamp collection so I started to re-arrange the lamps in this room. The Typ A Wonderlamp became much better in this coloured room. The light from the window makes it really amazing.
PANTON AT SIMPSONS
A fellow Panton collector sent me this picture. He was watching an old episode of Simpson and saw the chair in the background. That is the high-back Amoeba Chair from Vitra.
DAHLIA FABRIC
Just framed the “Dahlia” fabric from the Tratto III collection. Next to it, you see the prototype print for another design in the Tratto I collection – The Rose.
