This was nothing I expected to find… 33 wooden wall panels from “Der Spiegel Kantine” in orange and purple just arrived home. Each panel has about the same measurements as a Spiegel lamp. Below you see some pictures from when they still were up in the building. The house is now gone.

PURPLE OPTIK CARPET
The purple Optik carpet now ended up in the kids room in green. Those two colors goes quite good together.
PAINTING AGAIN
Ok, here we go again… The walls are now smooth without old wall papers so just need to do another 100 layers of paint again. We also changed the yellow-orange color to orange for better matching to the red dining part. The red is also a little more vivid for a perfect match with the […]
NEW WALLS
Maybe you think I have renovation as a hobby… We decided to fill the old structured wallpaper before painting the finishing layers of yellow-orange. The paint wasn’t vivid enough earlier and if we would have choosen a more shiny paint (wich also means stronger/more vivid colors), it wouldn’t have looked good with stuctured wallpaper. So… […]
SALON ROUGE 2
The next Salon Rouge room is soon ready… One idea is to have large wall mirrors from the floor to the ceiling on each side of the table.
PANTON IN THE SQUARE
A guy I know in Göteborg, Ruben Östlund, just won the “Palm d’or” in Cannes for his movie “The Square” wich will come up in theathers this autumn 2017. Pantonworld has lend the film crew some Panton pieces for the decor. Amongst other pieces you see a fabric frame in beige with kvadrat pattern (picture from […]
PANTON STOOL PROTOTYPE
[2jslideshow id=”38251″] A new cool piece for the collection showed up the other day but I haven´t had the time to show it until now. First I did not think this stool was a design by Verner Panton but a lot of details points to the direction this really is an “undiscovered Panton Stool” […]
ORANGE
Next test… This is the same orange as Verner had in his first entrance in the Binningen villa. I think we keep this one.
DARK GREEN
First test of color for the entrance – Verner Panton’s dark green color.
BLUE OFFICE
Some pictures from the blue office at Pantonworld. A reflection from a metalic chair gives a quite cool mark on the walls.
YELLOW KITCHEN
A small preview of the kitchen in golden-yellow… I will soon start with the entrance in the background.
ALMOST READY
The yellow kitchen only needs some minor adjustments now. I will probably change the furniture into a pair of black Cone Chairs together with this table from Astoria but start like this.
