RESTAURANT ASTORIA WAITRESS
Thomas in Norway has founded another picture from his exhibition “A sence of darkness – Verner Pantons Astoria restaurant”. “Nordenfjeldske Kunstindustrimuseum” in Trondheim had the exhibition in 2002. This picture shows the the original dresses in orange cotton that the waitresses were using at the restaurant in Trondheim 1959/60. The dress is probably designed by […]
COPENHAGEN MODERNISM SHOW 2003
My norweigian friend Thomas founded another picture from the Copenhagen Modernism show, this time from 2003. This is the fair stand for the shop “gagarin” in Stuttgart. The flowers are the price for best fair stand and he also won a free space the next year. Unfortunatelly the fair did not continue the year after. […]
EARLY CONE TABLE FROM PLUS LINJE
Here comes some better pictures from the latest trip. First you can see a low Cone table from 1959/60. There is also a note under it that says ” Dranella – Stand C1 – 005 – Bella Center” The first edition of these table had a three crossed foot instead of four. So I guess […]
PROTOTYPE GEOMETRI 1 FABRIC FROM STEENS
Here is a small sample of the fabric that originally were printed for the Astoria restaurant project 1959/60. These colours were not used in the norweigian restaurant but this very fabric was used for a barber shop in Copenhagen 1963 – Steens! This handprinted fabric were produced in the attic at Sølvgade in Copenhagen. Unika […]

COPENHAGEN MODERNISM 2002
A bit strange but today I got this picture from my norweigian friend Thomas. The picture was taken 10 years ago at the “Copenhagen Modernism 2002”. Not so strange with that but the purple Storz & Palmer set on the picture now stands in my basement.
A SMALL PANTOUR
Today I picked up a very rare low Cone Table from Plus Linje. It has a three-crossed foot instead of a four-crossed foot so therefor you could see it was made in 1959. After 1960, for example to the Astoria restaurant, the tables had a four-crossed foot. Someone has painted the plate white instead of […]
AUBERGINE ROOM IN 360 DEGREES
I made a little test with the application “360 PANORAMA” on my iPhone wich helps you taking pictures with 360 degrees of angle. The phone takes a lot of pictures and then put them together automatically. Probably, I will get better in this soon but here is the first test. It was really cool when […]
COMPLETE PLUS LINJE CHAIRS
Earlier, my Bar Cone Chair did not have all of the four white plastic feets and the four metal legs was not totally straight because of a repair. The “grey” chair you see to the right is a Dining Cone Chair without fabric. I bought it to use some parts to make my other chairs […]
FLOWERPOT TABLE LAMP
Here is some pictures of my new lamp. An orange table Flowerpot lamp. Strangely, I did not have this lamp in the collection before. It looks very good! From the beginning, the Flowerpot lamp was designed by Panton as an assignement to make a lamp for candles. That is why it is in enamel. It […]
