Crazy find! Verner Panton’s Roulette carpet is rare in any color but I have never seen any in blue/purple tones earlier. Even more strange for me, who lives in a city where you normally never find any Panton design, it has been quite near my home my whole life! The previous owner had some danish connections so I guess he took it from Denmark many years ago. This carpet was serial produced by Unika Vaev in Denmark 1965 but remarkably many of the ones that exists has popped up in other countries such as the USA, Italy, Germany and even Australia.
