Verner Panton´s own gate lamps. They are totally unique and were specially designed by Verner for the house in Binningen between 1972-87. After that, they were replaced with the ones you see in the last picture above (with me in front of the gate). The base is enamelled steel and the large cupole are made in some sort of plastic. The lamps are much bigger than you first think. Each lamp is 65 cm in diameter and over 70 cm:s tall. The lamp bulb in my pictures have a diameter of 12,5 cm.
