“The Salon Rouge” pieces at Pantonworld are one of the very few remaining complete Verner Panton interiors in the world with 12 wall panels, a large enamel ceiling, 6 clusters of lamps (60 lamps in total), a round table and also a little piece of the original carpet. “Le Salon Rouge” was designed by Verner Panton in 1971/72. It was the canteen at the company Emalliere Corgémont but it also worked as a showroom for Verner Panton´s work made in enamel. The canteen are since many years gone from it´s original location but half of the interior are now a part of the Pantonworld collection.

The wall panels for “Le Salon Rouge” are made in a bigger size compared to the standard serial produced version. They measure 250 x 62,5 cm:s each compared to 238 x 59,5 cm:s for the standard sizes.
The ceiling was made of enamel panels with a pattern from the “Geometri I” series. Each of those panels measures 62,5 x 62,5 cm:s and they have small holes for ventilation.
