Some quick pictures of the turquoise room in progress.
Through a norweigian friend, I just now realised the Astoria Hotel in 1960 had these golden Topan lamps in the room “Gulleplet” (The Golden apple).
The golden Topan lamp is now up in the kitchen.
The fourth layer of turquoise paint are now ready. Still some smaller things as painting door frames and such are left but it’s taking shape.
Another thing arrived today as well. This book covers the story of the Taunus and Pausa factory that printed almost all of Verner Panton’s fabrics. Unfortunatelly it is in german wich I don’t understand very well…

I first thought three layers of paint was ok but no… There are still stripes in the ceiling so I will give it another layer tonight.
