THE PANTONOVA CHAISE LONGUE IN AUBERGINE

Her comes some better pictures of the aubergine PANTONOVA CHAISE LONGUE from the early 70:ies.. The fabric is MIRALASTIC wich was first intended for norweigian ski socks but was then re-discovered by the Mira-X coordinator and used for a lot of Panton furnitures. This elastic fabric was perfect for refurnishing furniture so almost all of […]

BROWN LEDGES IN THE BROWN ROOM

I have just now started to paint some of the floor ledges in the BROWN ROOM.  They were white until yesterday. The radiators will also go brown to blend in better. Just some more layers of paint left… I will probably paint the ledges around the door openings as well. You will see more pics […]

NEW PICS OF THE TOPAN LAMPS

First… Here is one TOPAN lamp with a diffuser, no 16571. This one is from 1959. From Louis Poulsens very early catalogue. Here, Verner used 5 of these Topan lamps in a group. Here you can see it in Louis Poulsens own magazine “LP & CO -NYT” from 1972. Then we have another Topan lamp. […]

LUMINOUS WALL ELEMENT

Now, I am pretty convinced that my yellow / blue “WALL ELEMENT” is a prototype for the “LUMINOUS WALL ELEMENT” at the VISIONA 2 exhibition in Cologne 1970. Made for Bayer Chemicals, West Germany. I have a handwritten “certificate” from Marianne Panton that Verner Panton was the creator of my panel and I already knew […]

RARE TOPAN LAMPS

Here is a very early Panton lamp. The Topan lamp with a difusor were only produced 1959. To the left you can also see a Topan lamp with reflector. That one came 1965. In the background you can see a “regular” Topan lamp without a difusor or reflector. There is a really good website about […]

SKARRIDSØ KITCHEN PANEL

Today I got another blue SKARRIDAN enamel panel from SKARRIDSØ. Verner Panton designed these as kitchen doors in 1980. At last, I have four in the same size. I will probably use these in a formation of four together as a group. By the way, here you can see the whole kitchen: http://www.verner-panton.com/furniture/archive/phase/1172/

SOME REALLY COOL CHAIRS

Two mobile pictures from my professional refurnisher. The aubergine chair now has buttons. He also made some adjustements to make it look perfect! He used my other turquise chaiselongue as a template when refurnished it. Lucilly, I had found original Miralastic fabric covering an old sofa before. I throwed the sofa away but kept the […]

WOW!

This incredible bedspree and pillows are made by Johannes in Germany. He used 4,7 kilometers of threads to make it… I think it is an incredible project! Thanks for sharing this with us Johannes!
