Today this red Cone Chair arrived from a friend. It comes from Plus Linje’s second editon of chairs in the 60:ies were you can see the inner part of the x-foot are a little higher than the first edition wich was very low all the way.

The second layer of green is up.
FIRST LAYERS OF GREEN
The first layers of green in Otis and Leo’s room. We will probably cover the ceiling with some sort of board and paint it green too. Julians room will probably be sun yellow when finished.
RELAXING ROOM
At last I had time to move out the 700 kilos of enamel panels from Salon Rouge out of this aubergine room. They were stored here until I had the energy to lift them one floor up. My back are killing me but this room is a little more relaxing like this!
PROTOTYPE FABRICS
Here comes 25 more prototype fabrics from Verner Panton´s home in Binningen, Basel. The design is printed on a semi-transparant fabric. These fabrics are testsprints in context of Verner´s expanded Mira-X collection that was released in 1980. The new collection had 86 colours instead of the original 50 colours he used from 1969/70.
GEOMETRI IV CARPET
A new Verner Panton carpet for the Pantonworld collection. This is a “Geometri IV” carpet made by Unika Vaev 1960. Very few was made and I have only seen them in magasines from the time. Please let me know if you see any more.

EXHIBITION POSTER
This exhibition poster arrived today. It was made for Vitras travel exhibition at Grassi Museum in Leipzig year 2000.
WHITE ROOM
Some pictures from the white room we just renovated.
BANANA CHAIR
Some new pictures of the prototype for the Chair C2 – also called “Banana Chair” from 1959. The chair still have the original violet Bolivia fabric in very good condition. Not many chair was made with this round steel plate. The X-shaped foot was the one that went into serial production.
TURQUOISE TEST
A very quick Photoshop test to see how turquoise walls goes to the floor and enamel panels in the shower room.
