Some pictures of a really cool and early piece.

This Cone Stool comes from the owner of Astoria Hotel in Trondheim 1960. It was used by the pianist in the “Appelsinen” dining lounge and you can see it in some pictures. The Astoria Hotel and Restaurant was Verner Panton´s first commercial interior.

The foam is dry and everything is in it´s original condition. I will probably let it be like this for now.

As you can see there is a small “keyhole” under the seat. The first versions from Plus Linje had this and you supposed to have a small pin from the seat to connect it with. In the later version from Plus Linje they didn´t use this technique.
