Another cool objects showed up today…

This is probably a prototype for an ashtray designed for the DER SPIEGEL PUBLISHING HOUSE.

Verner made his ashtrays in red, blue, turquise and orange but not white…

He usually made his prototypes in white so the colour shouldn´t distract when he created the form.

The Swiss company Emaillerie Corgémont produced them 1969. There was two versions (one with a hole and one wich was closed) of each size.

3 sizes were made and now I have all sizes in the PANTONWORLD collection.
