I don’t know how big the odds are to find two carpets like this in inverted colours?
The most incredible thing is that they are cut out in the exact same size! Everything points to that they have been one bigger piece earlier even though they must have been separated for atleast 15 years.
I got them from different sources but they both originally comes from Switzerland. The carpets are probably about 48 years old. So strange!

As you see in the last two pictures below, Verner Panton used this wall-to-wall carpet at the Varna Palais in Århus, Denmark, as well as to cover the doors in their private villa in Binningen.
