I have been quite busy with updating the website latelly. Some new pieces are coming in but not all are here yet.

My friend picked up these early Bachelor Chairs for me the other day. I have never seen this canvas fabric on these chairs before but they are old. The danish familly who had them were sure they had them since the begining of the 60:ies but maybe before that too.

I know Verner Panton produced the Bachelor Chair under his own name around 1953-55 and then Fritz Hansen bought up his company. Fritz Hansen´s early models of the Bachelor Chair had a stamp directly to the metal frame and around 1962 they changed to a sticker. These chairs has nothing of that but are in still very good condition so I dubt a sticker would have fell off. I will try to investigate a little more if they could have been from Verner´s own early production.
