I had a quite unexpected gift from my mother. A “Three light”-bulb made for the Panthella lamp wich have three steps for different  strenghts of the light.

People who uses a standard lamp in their Panthella lamp for the first time always think their lamp is broken. It first works after some extra pushing on the swith. This is the bulb made for the Panthella lamp with a “Three switch”.

On the other hand, to use a 100 watt bulb will for sure be quite risky. It might melt the shade.
