Some time ago I received one of Verner Pantons very first lamps – 53 years old!
This is a prototype of a wall Topan lamp from 1959.
The Topan lamp was Verners first lamp that were putted into serial production but the wall model were only made as a prototype – Here it is!
This lamp comes from a close friend to Verner that got it as a present many years ago.
It is probably made by Plus Linje (the plexiglas holder) and Louis Poulsen (the Topan lamp) as a collaberation.

He did a lot of experimenting with “floating” furnitures in his early period.
