Yesterday, I picked up this super rare set of two chairs made by Storz and Palmer 1962.

Very few pieces of these early Verner Panton chairs is known, especially the stool without back rest.

According to Marianne Panton, (wich I spoke to about this chair) this is not a chaise longue in two parts but two separate chairs.

Anyway, they go perfect to eachother to use as a chair with foot stool.

The purple/blue fabric is made in MIRALASTIC wich is the same material as most of my other furnitures in this room.

I have now learned the story about this fabrics… It is originally fabrics for norweigian ski socks!
