A “NEW” PANTONOVA CHAISE LONGUE

My Pantonova chaise longue from 1971 was a bit bleached by the sun.

I took it to a professional reupholsterer in Göteborg. He is one of the best in Sweden.

I asked him if it was possible to separate all the fabrics from the cushions and then sew it back together inside out.

And he did – with a perfect result!

So now  the original Unika Væv fabric from the 70:ies is looking like new.

I also made some polishing of the wire by using plain household aluminium foil. Without any paste.

That is an old trick I just learned but it worked out just great!
