Happy new year! The first layer of magenta color are up in the bedroom. To be continued in 2018…
Next room to take care of in our new house will be this bedroom. Walls and ceiling will be magenta colored as you see on our test with the wardrobe doors.
Another thing from the co-worker to Verner are these 8 red Mira-Tülle curtains. I now finally had some time to make them in order for our new house. They were used in his house and you can see them in pictures below. A lot of fabrics are used in them (they are 2,5 meters tall […]
I have now started to frame some of the large amount of prototype testprints from the Panton Design office. Above you see one fabric design I don’t think was put in serial production. It is named “Indio” and the colors are extremelly strong. The markings comes from the co-worker who was responsible for Verner’s fabric […]
Some pictures of the aubergine room with the new Anatomie “Hand” frame and SP3 in chrome. The plan is to devide the room into one “warm” and one “cold” side. The back wall behind the Living Tower will have a mirror wall from the ceiling to the floor.
A little test with a Fun 0 DA in the small red room. “DA” is the version with aluminum discs instead of musselshells.
Thank you Dr Falten Lege-Haken for this nice christmas present! This sub brand “S-Collection” was created by Mira-X in the mid 80:ies. Several designers worked under this name but it wasn’t that big success so it was kind of short lived. This is Verner Panton’s design under this brand and he called this collection “Trevira” […]
The big “Anatomie Hand”-frame is ready! I will have it in the aubergine room later but here you have some quick pictures.
About time to mount some Anatomie fabrics on wooden frames. This is the first prototype version made by Paul Boheim in context of Visiona 0 in 1968. The fabric is actually longer than you see here but the “Hand” above this is cut. Must be the biggest piece of the “Hand” design I have ever […]
All rooms in our house are colored in some way and up until now we have used white switches and electrical plugs. Now we changed to a more homogen matte silver finish wich looks much better. We also managed to get up the Spy lamp as a ceiling lamp after beeing in a box for […]
At last I re-arranged one Spiral lamp “SP2” and one “SP01” into a larger “SP3”.
Some new pictures of the fantastic prototype of the “Light Column” from Verner Panton´s home 1971.
