Sophia in the MIRROR SCULPTURE.
In Basel, where Verner Panton lived you can eat at this restaurant, La Rose. As you see they have PANTON CHAIRS all over the place.
Just wanted to show you a preview of the WHITE ROOM. The 3-D CARPET now lives here on a big CONTRACT 1 carpet from MIRA-X. After finishing the work with taking pictures of my whole collection, piece by piece, I will start to take pictures of the rooms. Since we still have some renovations left, […]
While working taking pictures in a suburb to Göteborg today, I ran into this piece… It looks like a part of the prototype MIRROR SCULPTURE in a big format without mirrors. Really cool!
I am little by little updating the pictures and info regarding the different pieces in the collection. The goal is to have all different objects documented together with as much info as possible. The latest objects to update was the PANTONAEF toy system (now under MY COLLECTION – OBJECTS). The standard version colours of the […]
Some time ago we had a big tv-crew in our house. They were making a show for the swedish tv-programme “Hustoppen” at TV8. This time, the program will show PANTONWORLD (They call it “VILLA PANTON”. The programme will go at 21.00 this evening so if you are interested, check it out. It is in swedish. […]
As a big fan of VERNER PANTON´s enamel work I was very happy today, when I got this set of 8 coasters for drinking glasses. They are 8 x 8 cm:s each and have the same GEOMETRI 1 design as his larger wall panels from EMAILLERIE CORGÉMONT.
The PROTOTYPE MIRROR SCULPTURE is now a little more cleaned and here you have some picture of it.
Here you have some new pictures of the MIRROR SCULPTURE PROTOTYPE. VERNER PANTON made this piece before he started with all the other MIRROR SCULPTURES in 1964-65. The size is about 67 cm long and 33 cm tall but it all depends of wich way you put it. Each “sphere” is about 15 cm […]
Here you have the object I have been waiting for a long time get in the collection. This is VERNER PANTON´S first prototype of a MIRROR SCULPTURE. He built this around 1964-65. The shape reminds of the glass wase he designed in 1964 but you can also see some similarity to his architectual design from […]
Today I received some pieces I have been waiting for. I will shortly come back to what it is in the box… The furnishing fabric you see on the floor comes from a very nice lady who was about to refurnish two 1-2-3 chairs. I helped her with the correct material and as a thank […]
First up is this transparant “see through” curtain called “SPHERE” for the “GRAFICA 1” series 1974. It is actually the first piece I have ever seen “live” myself. I have only seen them in pictures from the 70:ies. Mira-X sold a lot of these fabrics but since they have no tags, nobody knows what it […]
