It seems like we are not the only one that has a FUN 7 DM lamp. According to the german magazine BUNTE, “Brangelina” has one in their living room too! Also they have quite a good view over the Pacific ocean to go with it…
Ok, the lamp is ready! It is hard to show the lamp in pictures compared to see it live. It looks incredible when you sit under it! And yes… we will get other chairs and table.
Yesterday I putted up a Pantonova diningtable under our new FUN 7 lamp. Today, our twin boys, Leo and Otis managed to flip the glas plate over the edge of the table. Luckilly they were both on the same side so they survived without any damages at all. PUHH! The plate was almost 2 cm […]
Here is a quick picture of the FUN 7 DM when we just hanged it on the right place. I need to fix some small things and also make the electric working. You will see more pics tonight!
The last new object I will show you today is this DINING WIRE CONE CHAIR. It has original turquise furnishing fabric in perfect condition. Plus Linje made it in 1958. There was two versions. One with a back rest cushion and one without that cushion. Here is some of the other chairs I have […]
I really like Pantons fabrics and today I got these rare fabrics from a collector in Norway. The two pieces with bigger pattern are authentic pieces from Restaurant Astoria in Norway. All other fabrics from Astoria are now in museums. You can see that the “Astoria-version” had a bigger print and the colour […]
Next two items this week is these two WIRE CUBES made by FRITZ HANSEN in the 70:ies. You can also see a exhibition catalog on top of one cube. I will come back to that soon but you will then see very cool pictures and read about the Astoria restaurant in Trondheim, Norway that Verner […]
Another cool objects showed up today… This is probably a prototype for an ashtray designed for the DER SPIEGEL PUBLISHING HOUSE. Verner made his ashtrays in red, blue, turquise and orange but not white… He usually made his prototypes in white so the colour shouldn´t distract when he created the form. The Swiss company Emaillerie […]
Here is our latest lamp – An original FUN 7 DM made by LÜBER!!! You will soon see it over a dining table in the AUBERGINE ROOM. This lamp has been hanging in an office since around 1967 and it is mega rare. I only remember seeing 3 pieces before this and two of them […]
